The Collection Series - by Private Stock

When Paul Reed Smith assumed leadership of the PRS Private Stock program in 2009, he remarked, “I’m looking forward to building guitars again.” The Collection Series from Private Stock provides him the opportunity to do just that. Much like the sought-after “Paul’s 28” guitars, these instruments will be built in small batches (about a dozen at a time) and will incorporate a balance of PRS traditions and exclusive “prototype stage” specifications.

Experience PRS, now in its fifth year, has become one of the largest single-manufacturer events in the music industry. This event, held each September at PRS Guitars’ manufacturing facility in Stevensville, MD, hosts a unique combination of authorized PRS dealers and international distributors, worldwide press, celebrated PRS artists, and PRS customers and enthusiasts. The number of attendees continues to climb every year, with a new peak of approximately 2,800 people for 2011, with some customers traveling from as far away as Japan and Australia to attend.
